The Minimalistic Gabbeh Runner, measuring 2.75 by 0.9 metres, is a handwoven rug crafted by the Qashqai tribe in the Fars Province of Persia. This traditional Persian runner features a thick wool pile made from hand-spun wool, set upon a sturdy cotton foundation, delivering both durability and softness underfoot.
Its design is defined by minimalistic camel motifs set against a warm terracotta background, complemented by dynamic border patterns. The rug displays natural colour variations known as "Abrash," which occur due to the use of different batches of wool and organic vegetable dyes. These subtle stripes add depth and character, making each piece unique.
With a notably thick and solid texture, this Gabbeh runner brings warmth and a touch of authentic craftsmanship to hallways or narrow spaces. The natural vegetable dyes and hand-spun wool ensure an organic aesthetic that ages gracefully.
Given its handwoven nature and natural materials, this runner benefits from regular care to preserve its quality and appearance over time.
